I was measuring the space below my kitchen counter. This was the only space where I could actually put the only missing appliance in my kitchen, the refrigerator. 22… 23… 24 inches. I was new to all these interior designing activities (if that’s what you call these endeavors). I was new to all these scouting for sofas, beds, microwaves and other home essentials. I’m a new mom and we had to vacate out of my parents house, because the place was getting too small for all of us. I recently had my second child and we are moving into a two bedroom apartment. My children are still young but of course, I didn’t want all of us to still stay at my parent’s house. I’m currently fixing the place and looking for furniture and appliances. But my biggest question was, is there such a thing as a 24 inched refrigerator because I would like to buy two please! I have heard of the 24 inch under counter refrigerators, but do those refrigerators exist?

I have been a member of a traditional family and having a refrigerator means having a huge and massive white one in the kitchen. I quickly searched the internet and my doubts vanished. There were a couple of brands who manufactured a 24 inch under counter refrigerator. Brands like Summit, Whirlpool, Avanti, Kitchen Aid, GE, etc. bring great refrigerator solutions to backward “moms” like us.

This 24 inch under counter refrigerators cost around as low as $350 to around $3900. It also comes in different colors, designs, features and functionality. I am actually just looking for a refrigerator that can fit through this hole that I’m measuring. But as a Mom of course, I would love to have a refrigerator that has a lot of space for placing food for my husband and the kids. I’ll be canvassing and choosing soon. I just wanted to write this to make the mother’s know that yes, there is such a thing as a 24 inch refrigerator.
