We live on a farm and have endless problems with Woodpeckers. I searched online and found this cool battery operated device so I ordered it along with uniross batteries, and this is apparently going to put a stop to my Woodpecker problem. The device is in the shape of an insect and what it does is apparently attack the bird, chasing it away so that eventually they will be so scared of it that they will never return. I must admit, when I saw the product I did laugh, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Anyway, my new favorite insect and my Uniross batteries are in the mail and soon enough I will be able to know if this will really work or if I wasted my money. At least if the insect does not work then I have some descent quality batteries so not all will be a waste.

He also enjoyed the patronship of von Meck, a women who also sponsored Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In 1909, he was diagnosed with rectal cancer. He underwent one of the first colostomy in 1916. Unfortunately, this was only marginally successful and he died of his condition in 1918. He had only one child, a daughter by his second wife. She had several of his compositions dedicated to her. Unfortunately, she too died at a very early age during the terrible diphtheria epidemic in 1919.
