Halloween is upon us again which means if you haven’t thought about a costume your late. The time to start thinking about that was a while ago and the time to place an order is right now if you want to be sure to get what you want in time for the big night! But that’s not really the point of this post. What we’re talking about here is the best costume for your kid to were to make sure that he or she has candy through spring (and no teeth by fall) Since the economy is down and folks are pinching there Penny’s, so you can expect alot of bite size pieces in the plastic pumpkin head this year. That means it’s time to put those karate classes to good use, put the kids in some martial arts costumes and let the feast begin. The Only One That Associated Mistletoe and Wine with Christmas Time

There are things that just go together or things that bring back wonderful memories of childhood. I have often thought that our family was the only one that associated mistletoe and wine with Christmas time. That was until I met my now husband. His family celebrates with mistletoe and wine also. I was surprised to see a mistletoe hanging above their front door when I went to visit. My husband apologized for the ‘creepiness’ of it and I just chuckled. Telling him it was far from creepy because my family does the same thing! We both laughed about it and that started a conversation of many things associated with traditions. We actually have many things in common that we never imagined before. We always have a Christmas carol gathering around the piano as well! We were both sort of surprised when we heard that too! Not many families stick with tradition; I am sure glad ours did however.
