How about a short little lesson about the Dominican Republic? Let’s start with some geography shall we? This country is found on the western part of the Hispaniola Island located to the west of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. It shares the island with Haiti. Historically, the Haitian portion of the island was French ruled and the Dominican portion was Spanish ruled. Of course, the original people of the island were neither French or Spanish. They were Taino, a native tribe that is thought to have arrived on the Hispaniola Island from the upper part of South America. I think you will find that history or this beautiful place is extremely interesting and you can tour parts of the country to help interpret this history. It is perhaps the most beautiful of all the places I have traveled to.

I am taking a dream vacation to China and one of the places that I plan to visit is Macau. I want to see the ruins and museums and I also want to get some gambling in. I love to gamble at home and I can’t wait to see how they do it in China. While I was researching my trip, I found a great place online that lists lots of Macau tours. Some of them looked really interesting and I am going to sign up for a few. I want to take a tour of the ruins of St. Paul. I love old architecture and this seems interesting to see. A Well Known Wine Farm

Some very good wine is served at The Raft Restaurant in Walvis Bay, notably, wine from the estate of Groot Constantia.The wine farm Groot Constantia was bought by the British Colonial Government from Jakob Pieter Cloete on 19 October 1885, and has remained in Government hands ever since. As the quality of and demand for Constantia wine had steadily decreased over the years, the Colonial Government first established an agricultural experimental farm on the Estate. On this farm, young men from all over the Cape Province learnt better methods of farming with sheep, fruit and vines. In 1926 the South African Government established a private company named Groot Constantia Estate (Pty.) Limited and ran the farm as an Estate wine farm, planting the varieties popular at that time. These vines produced sweet white table wines, and fortified sherry and port wines. In 1943 the Government leased the farm to the Bertrams wine organisation, which has long been connected with the South African wine industry. On Constantia Bertrams made sweet white wine for sale in Cape Town and dry red wine for export purposes. These wines were made from the old port type and sherry type vines, plus Steen and Cinsaut. In 1957 Bertrams’s lease expired and it was not renewed by the South African Government. Once again, the Groot Constantia Estate began to make its own wines.
We Will Be Staying at a Clearwater Beach Hotel

I was checking out the various hotels on Clearwater Beach in Florida. I wanted my wife and I to have a great fall vacation. We were going to go to Florida in the middle of winter, but we decided to go ahead and go now instead of waiting. We don’t particularly care for the winter months up here in the northeast. We don’t like the heavy snow and the brutal cold. That was why we were going to take a three week vacation in the middle of winter down in Florida. However, the peak season will have long been over and we wanted to enjoy some of the touristy things that might not be available in the middle of winter even though Florida will have much nicer weather. We like the fall season up here and go to the mountains to stay a couple of days and take pictures. This year we have decided to just go early to Florida.

I found the very best shopping in Hong Kong and I am a shopper. I was able to get so many great deals on designer clothes and handbags, two of my favorite things in life. I would stay there for another week just for the great restaurants. But sadly like most good things my trip eventually had to come to an end.

We have been planning this for a long time, and the time has come when we have finally found cheap flights to Bangkok. I suppose that it is really the season for cheap flights to Asia. We are going to take advantage of this and include Bangkok into our programme for our holiday. It is something that the whole family can be excited about. We have never been to Thailand before, and it just made sense for us to look into Bangkok first because it is the capital city after all. Sometimes when we do not know where to go for our holiday, we make sure that we visit the capital of a country. There is sure to be some tourism around that area. But we heard that Thailand has so many more places to explore, and it would be nice to really look into that for our next plans.
