I cannot believe I am married to the woman of my dreams. We were just married a few weeks ago and we got back from our ten day honeymoon last week. We worked hard so we could take the time off work to spend our first ten days together as spouses without any distractions. It was the first time we had been away together, and we knew that we wanted to make sure we did something special every year. We didn’t want to take our time together for granted at all. We looked up Thomson Holidays 2013 yesterday so we can already start planning our first summer holiday together. I think we have determined that we would like to go on a cruise together. The vicar attends the ‘Commons’ and conducts a candle auction, an ancient custom in which the auction has to be concluded by the time an ordinary household candle splutters its last light. It is a festive occasion whose origins are unknown but may have begun about 200 years ago.
