How often have you went to move your heavy furniture around inside your home and found those carpet indentations? All the time right? They happen whenever you go to move furniture to use your carpet cleaner like the Hoover steamvac carpet cleaner, or you decide to simply to some spring cleaning and give your room a fresh new look.

To remove these indentations and get the carpet back to its original shape, try a couple of these tips. First, you can take your iron from the laundry room, or a garment steamer if you have one, and hold it over the top of the area you want repaired. Do not let it sit on top of the carpet itself or it will ruin it.

Another tip is to take an ice cube out of your freezer and let it sit inside the indentation for a while. As it melts you should notice the fibers coming back up into shape again.
