The 2009/10 was at most an average one for Arsenal. The clubs supporters have got used to winning trophies and this year there was no decent silverwear. However it can’t be said to be a bad year. Arsenal football club were in the Champions League for yet another season. The squad although young are developing well and showing real promise. The Arsenal team also managed to play some grat football at times.

The poor (by Arsenals standards) season is due to a combination of mistakes by the manager, some injuries and a few players that performed well below their potential. Arsenal started the season really well but the young team had lost their edge by the end and lost far too many games. Nevertheless the club remained close to Chelsea and Manchester United until the last few games Over the summer some new players will need to be brought into the Arsenal team. Lets hope that season 2009/2010 was the last building year before winning some big trophies next season. Arsenal football gifts fans some trophies next season.
